Though coffee was introduced in Kenya in 1893, the first crop of Gibson’s coffee was not planted until the early 1960s, by Gibson himself. This was after Kenya achieved self-governance from the British Government. The newly-opened restaurant needed an identity branching from the main company to support its new venture, so the following materials were created.
